Barrel weights

do all fox bbls have a weight number on them. I can not locate any such numbers on my 16 ga SW

It seems that as often as not the barrel weight numbers got polished off during fitting and finishing. That is another reason Headrick and I feel they applied to the rough pairs of tubes from the tube suppliers.

I would take a guess that more smallbore Foxes were barreled in #3 weight barrels than any other. At least that is what i have seen the most.If they were building a gun without specific weight wanted.I have never seen a set of Krupp barrels with weight stamps. Bobby
