Miss Mollie had a big opening day
Miss Mollie picked up 16 ducks and Miss Nellie picked up 9. Big day for the Larter Labs.

She looks a little less intense in that last photo!

You had a wonderful opening day Craig. You look very happy with a nice grin on your face. Mollie and Nellie had a wonderful day too and I hope the other guys did well also.

Congratulations Craig. Looks like you had a great morning with the wood ducks.

Three of us shot 10 woodies 4 pintails 1 wigeon 1 mallard. Nellie hunted with Mark Kircher. I hunted my Beretta 486 Deep Engraving, these are great guns in my opinion.

I know you wait all year for this so it's great that you had some ducks to keep the dogs busy. I'm glad to see Nellie hasn't lost her touch.

I don’t think it gets much better than that for the pups or the boys! Well done Craig. Thanks for sharing the hunt and retrieves with us! Brett

A comfortable couch, a well-stocked bar, a great cigar and two exhausted, but content, pups! I tell ya what Craig, it doesn't get any better than that. Congrats on a great opener.

Re: Miss Mollie had a big opening day
My two girls are up to 54 retrieves so far. Back at it Thursday, ducks are starting to thin out. Off pheasant hunting tomorrow at a state game area.

Wow. The girls are earning their keep this year. Which pup will have the honors tomorrow?

Re: Miss Mollie had a big opening day
I hunt both on State Game Lands for pheasants. Thursday duck hunting Nellie gets the call. Friday preserve pheasants, Saturday ducks. Both dogs are in great condition and can hunt daily. At 76 I get a little tired keeping up with them LOL.
