Seeking any information on lefever F grade

Post by Hunterlee »

I have been tasked with trying to dig up any and all information about this gun. I figured I best reach out to the experts on here! It belongs to a friend of mine who purchased it from a collector that is getting up in age that owned it over 50 years. Allegedly it was used to fit some very prominent people including a president or two… it supposedly is the last one known.

Very cool gun. I would check with Bob Decker or Ken Snyder over at the Lefever group.
Shoot vintage firearms, relax, and have fun.

That is really nice and I'm not sure how rare it is but I bet there aren't many. Please contact Bob or Ken over at the Lefever site. Thanks for posting.

My A.P. Curtis try gun is a Parker. I have seen a Lefever Curtis try gun. I don't know much about them, but would be interested in purchasing the Lefever pictured. My Parker needs company. "Used to fit a president" and other claims, are a bit of a stretch. I would still like to put it together with my Parker try gun. Last one known, is also a stretch, since mine is number 5.
