Yeah, I'm positive it's the same one I was ace'd out of on Friday afternoon at the Vintagers in September when Steve and one of his employees had a "come to Jesus' meeting. GGRRRRR..........!!!Big Friend Ten wrote:Steve Barnett had a XE 12 with 32", 3 weight barrels. Oh my what a gun that is! Only $16,500. Luckily I left the deed to the farm at home

I should have snapped a few shots of that 32" XE! Instead you will have to settle for a few smartphone snapshots...

Forgot, I did buy a nice Peters counter top display piece, figure it is from the mid 20's.

Very nice Craig... love those old graphics! Good piece. I haven't heard of anybody going home with a new trophy gun but you're the 2nd fellow who scored nice advertising item(s) from this show that I have heard from.

Re: What happens in VEGAS.......
Last I knew Boyd is a Fox CA member but I don't think he's active on this BBS. There's been some behind the scenes talk that the XE Steve has, is the one Boyd had for sale a while back. Actually I shot his 32 XE on the course at the NE SxS at Hidden Hollow; that was 3-4 years ago and I'm a little foggy on it right now, but I've looked at its specs on Steve's site and I'm not sure it came from Boyd.

Re: What happens in VEGAS.......
Thanks John, that clinches it. As I wrote I'm kinda foggy on the gun even though I shot some targets with it. Nice gun.
I must be losing it, all these Foxes are running together.
I also know that a Fox comrade also looked at it, at another NE SxS maybe two years ago ..... at least I think so ..... ha ha ha.
