I believe that it's an original german/silver press fit, I have an early Sterlingworth pin gun that I'm refinishing the barrels so I pulled the bead off. Can anyone confirm that this would be original to the gun? I was surprised that it wasn't threaded in.

Press-in Bead Install?
Any tips on getting a new press-in bead installed? Assuming the some sort of punch with a recess would be best, or possibly a wooden dowel rod? What do the experts do to install these?

Sterlingworth Stock Marking?
I'm disassembling my new 12 Gauge Sterlingworth Pin Gun, the head of the stock has the serial number on one side, the other side is marked "S. S.". Wondering what the "S. S." is for, anyone have any insight into this?

DIY Rust Blue?
Has anyone tried the rust blue method from www.rustblue.com and if so, how did it turn out? I've got a new to me AH Fox Sterlingworth project gun coming my way, might want to try this out on the barrels. Looks like a decent finish can be had assuming that you follow the instructions exactly.
