That number is unknowable. From my years of observing and recording Sterlingworths, the first ejector gun I've recorded is 58901. From there to the highest serial number "pin gun" I've recorded, 62244, I have recorded 22 guns, 16 with ejectors. 16/22 = X/3343 solve for X. Every new observation could change that a lot!!

It has been speculated here in this forum and elsewhere that there were approximately 400 12-ga. Sterlingworth Pin Guns with ejectors produced.

And McIntosh and the Headricks speculated that there were 300 HE-Grade Super-Fox guns produced and that number is in print all over the place, when in fact the real number is nearly 950.bamboozler wrote:It has been speculated here in this forum and elsewhere that there were approximately 400 12-ga. I said above the number is unknowable, but if someone got into the records at Savage with enough time and determination it could be known.
