SILVERS DONE DID GOOD!!
Here's to Frank "Silvers". Frank won the 12g Hammerless Prelim event with a 49/50 shooting his Fox CE "Matilda". He also shot a 45/50 in the Classic Big Bore Pump Gun event with his Westchester M12!! Well struck Frank!!

Re: SILVERS DONE DID GOOD!!
I feel blessed that Frank allows me to shoot with him. I knew he was on a roll with Matilda and was pulling for him to run 'em. Great shooting my friend.

Re: SILVERS DONE DID GOOD!!
Thanks everyone. Daryl is too kind, he's an excellent shooter and I was privileged to shoot several events along with Daryl and Mike Smith.
It seems no one else will post our member's wins here so let me note that Daryl shot 42/50 for HOA (High Overall) with a 20g hammer gun, and he took the Lefever Collectors' coveted Uncle Dan Cup trophy with a 20g Lefever H Grade gun. Also our member Stan Hoover was HOA with 41/50 in the 16g hammerless event, and HOA with a 8 gauge Parker with a score of 14. That was for 15 clays. Quite an accomplishment with its 7 frame and (as I recall) 34” barrels.

Re: SILVERS DONE DID GOOD!!
Let's not forget Mike Smith who took the smallbore Fox trophy if I'm not mistaken. I'm really proud of the Uncle Dan cup with a 45/50 but taking the 28HL with a 46/50 would have made my weekend. Unfortunately Fox never made a Phila. Fox in 28 so I was stuck with a Parker.

Re: SILVERS DONE DID GOOD!!
Thanks for the kind words Frank.
Congrats to Frank, Daryl, and Mike Smith, I don't remember all your scores without checking, but you guys set the bar high. I enjoy the competition and the fun of competing, I keep dreaming of the 90% you guys are shooting on a 50 bird course and think some sweet day
It was also great to shoot the 5 stand with Jeff and visit with other familiar faces from these SXS shoots.
It was a great weekend and another for the memories, Mike and family did well!
