New SF Duck Gun

So I have been shooting 31019 C-HE with XE wood and checkering for a few years and killed a pile of duck with it and have decided to retire it from the marsh. Its the top gun in the photo.
I picked up it's replacement 31774 (bottom gun) recently, a 32" 3" pistol grip with swivels and no pad, great dimensions for me and nice condition. Barrels measure .744/.744 and chokes both .049. One broken ejector guide pin that needs repair otherwise good to go.

Hi Craig, Are you moving from a 30" to 32" barrel HE?

Jim I would trade my new 32 for a 30 of equal value.

So I got around to measuring the walls, at 9" from the breech they measure .098/.099 (not that unusual for a SF), Min walls .062 and .058 (that is .015 heavier than any of my other SF's), weight on my digital scale just shy of 9 lbs 4 oz (maybe the swivels added an ounce to the weight). A big beefy gun that will have no problem with TM 3" 1 3/8oz #3's on late season blacks and mallards. Happy guy

Neat gun. Like Swivels on a duck gun. Comes in really handy. That's a beasty one for sure. Won't be able to stop your swing which is a good thing.

Nice Super Craig. Mine weighs very close to the same as yours.
