Knock-out wood for sure. How is she choked and how long is the barrel?

That looks like a good one, looks like you have the 5E with the silver bird inlays? I would consider these more rare than the gold inlay 5E Knicks, what serial # range would yours fall into?

Me and my son enjoy our Knick single barrel trap guns, my son is 14 and has ran 24 out of 25 the last 2 months at the local trap club, he's really excited about getting that first 25 straight and maybe pressing a little too hard.

Thanks all. # range is 401xxx. Personally I prefer the silver birds over the gold so I was pleased with that. Stan, sounds like your son shoots better than I !

Sure is Frank ! A fellow I've shot with once or twice wandered over while I was enjoying a pipe between rounds; he shoots a Browning B99. The Knick was lying on a table; he took a look at it and said, "Dang! Why don't you get a nice gun?". Kinda made my day...

Very nice on the Ithaca silver inlay gun, I own a 5E double trap model with the silver inlay but my single barrel trap guns are all gold inlay. Don't want to hijack your thread, but there's seems to be more and more days where son is showing dad how it is done!

A number of years back, maybe 12 years, I was shooting trap pretty frequently with my first Knick, a 4E, and the first day of dove season rolled around and I got the brilliant idea to take my Knick dove hunting. I believe that was my best opening day meaning, least amount of shells to fill my limit and I finished quite a bit sooner than my friends. I tried it again another season but didn't quite have the same success.
