I purchased this Fox in November and just finished repairing the stock and getting it cleaned up. It is an early A Grade with 30" barrels and 2 5/8" chambers, choked imp modified and full.

Great job "saving" an old shotgun. A "restock" looks pretty, but sometimes it's nice to keep them original. You did good, and obviously you've got talent that I don't possess

Thanks for the kind replies. There are 4 brass pins in the repair. I stripped off the remaining finish, it had been revarnished at some time as well as reblued. The new finish is French polish (shellac) and a new replica Silvers pad installed. My intent was to maintain the look of a 110 year old gun with all or most of its character.

Nice Job Chris,
I own a number of A. H. FOXES, but my favorites are
the originals. I've said in the past these guns are like
Potato Chips. You can't seem to stop at one.
