First let me say I have enjoyed reading many posts on this forum and can appreciate the depth of knowledge here. I am new to the SXS Shotgun world so any knowledge that you would like to impart I will soak up like a sponge. There are a couple of questions that I have about this one. Have the BBL's been cut down? Is the recoil pad original or is this something that was added along the way? I am assuming that this one had case colors originally, is that correct, is it all gone? If you see anything else interesting please let me know, I love to learn. I was able to obtain the card showing the BBL's were 28", Bob Smith 's Sporting Goods in Boston was the original purchaser.

That's a hell of a gun to start with.

1. I would say yes the barrels have been cut down 1/2", but there still looks to be choke left.
2. The Noshoc recoil pad is not factory and was added later.
3. Original case colors are gone yes.

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome to the club!

just had the bores measured by a smith; right bore is 729 choke 704, left bore is 730 choke 700.
