I have a 20 ga Sterlingworth Circa 1921.
The Sterlingworth strike on the receiver was struck
“Sterl ngworth” NOT. “Sterlingworth” !
It’s not a light strike, the “I” was never there!
Seems the “I “ was broken off the stamp on a
Previous strike ?
Maybe one of a kind ? Or I wonder how many were
Struck this way before quality control noticed it ?
It was struck this way on both sides of the frame.
One of a kind 20ga Sterly ?

I have one - a 26" 12 - that has the "I" missing on the barrel stamping
