Hi all. The gun is marked A grade but the serial number seems high. Can someone help ID this gun? TIA

Appears to be a awesome 16ga A grade. I believe it is 32" bbls correct? Wow

It is a 16-gauge AE-Grade. That serial number is about right in the middle of graded 16-gauge serial numbers -- 300000 to 303875.

Yes its 32" #2. It was my grandfarther's gun Looks in really good condition, no nicks, scratches, dents. No real visible ware and pretty clean overall. A couple screws show they've been used but not mangled. It's been stored away for at least 60 years. Has a leather case that's kind of falling a part. Don't know if that would be factory or not. Not sure what I want to do with it. Everyone says not to display it and leaving it all locked away seems pointless. Any ballpark idea what it would be worth? Any advise? TIA

Can you post some pics of the case? I restore them and would be interested to see if it is marked with a maker's name (e.g., E.K. Tryon Philadelphia) or not. Thanks, Kevin

Thanks for all the replies. I don't see any names on the case. Pretty worn

Curios Is grade A at the high end or the low end?

"A" grade is at the low end, or beginning, of the graded guns, right after the Sterlingworth.

Please note that it has ejectors, so an AE16. That's a definite plus.

A very nice gun that Fox gun lovers would really like to own.

Thanks for the case pics - any maker's mark usually appears on the lid or on the hinge. Kevin

An AE 16 with 32" barrels...WOW, just WOW! I'd say that's a very special gun.
