Back in early 2001, when I was approaching my 55th birthday, I was pondering buying a virtually new 20-gauge VH-Grade Parker Bros. that had been left in a case for decades which did the metal no good. Before I could make up my mind, my Wife bought it for my 55th birthday. I used it some as it was, but finally took it to Bachelders the summer I was 70.

Dave, I'm sure that most of the members are impressed with that fine Parker (as they should be). However, my first thought is, "Nice wife"!
Shoot vintage firearms, relax, and have fun.

Re: Parker Restoration
My 66th was recently, and I bought myself the first pumpgun of my life, a 1938 Montgomery Wards/Browning model 30, 20 ga. My lovely wife had nothing to do with it, as she wouldn't have any clue what kind of guns I would like to have.
I need to take some pics of it I guess. It's a neat little gun.

Re: Parker Restoration
Nice Dave!! BTW, my wife buys me guns when she goes along to the Southern. She hasn't been with me there for 3 years.
She also buys me guns when I win a bet. She stopped betting me in 2014 when I won an A grade Fox.
