Is the barrel steel on later guns better than early ones?

Post by h1tdk00 »

I'm curious if the barrel steel on the later Sterlingworth's, specifically the ones marked special alloy with 2 3/4" chambers are better, stronger steel than the early guns.

Is there any info out there on the strength of the different barrels Fox produced?

I do not know but if I had my choice I would prefer Krupp steel. Bobby
