Is there any mention of the Super Fox gun in the 1927 Winchester Western booklet entitled "SUPER X THE LONG RANGE LOAD by Capt. Chas. Askins ?
Or, was this too early?
Thanks, SRH

I believe my copy only refers to it as the "Fox" gun. But I will take another look.

Re: "Super X" 1927 WW booklet
With the 20-gauge Super-X Askins shows one pattern from a Remington Model 17, and the rest from his Fox. In the 2 3/4 inch 12-gauge he uses a couple of Fox guns, a Lewis, and an Ithaca. In the 12-gauge 3-inch Super-X he uses a Fox, a Lewis and a Smith Long Range. For the 16-gauge Super-X he mentions his Ithaca Quail gun, a Lewis and a Parker. With the 10-gauge Super-X he used an Ithaca.
