Followed instructions from Fox administrators and kept getting an invalid post answer. Any help with this? Instructions don't seem to work very easily at all.

I know from posting a few that if they are too large they won't post. You have to make sure the are JPG's as well.

Well, it is a JPG and it still won't post. Even clicked on tiny.

Hmmmm! That's interesting. Two weeks ago I reverted to using "photobucket" because I couldn't get it to work either.

Another test . . . .

I had to re-size them smaller.

OK Jeff, now that you've succeeded in posting 1 (one) picture, I'm thinking it would be nice if you could post some more of that gun you have pictured.

And some details on what it is. It sure looks like a dandy.

Bill, the Simson is currently "visiting" Brad Bachelodor, but I have a couple of pictures that I can share with you. Based on the"proof" marks the guess is 1922, possibly a model 73E.

Jeff,

Very nice looking gun. Thanks for the additional pix. Is it a 12 or 16 gauge?

With help from Researcher and by watching a couple of YouTube videos (VERY helpful) on how to use the "Paint" feature to resize images, I settled on a pixel size combination of 1066 vertical x 800 width which gives a consistent 72 dpi (pixel density per inch). Much faster and easier way than going thru Photobucket, etc. Watch the YouTube videos - they're great! (All this using the jpeg format before "saving").

Bill, it's a 12 ga. My brother has a 16 ga. Simson with significantly more engraving on the "breech balls". They're nice, lightweight guns, but time will tell if I can hit anything with it.

That is the most ornate and tasteful grip cap I have ever seen. Absolutely stunning.
