Thanks

I'd like to say thanks to all the great AHFCA people I met since joining the association earlier this year. Tool Man (your highness) responded immediately to my initial inquiry and answered all my newcomer questions. I attended the events at Hidden Hollow and the Rock, had a great time, and learned very much.
I understand life today is complicated. It isn't easy for any of us to travel and be away from work and home, but I urge all members and those on the forum thinking about joining to make the commitment to attend an event, and go a step farther and ask how you can help out. You won't be disappointed. It will be the best investment you'll ever make in expanding your knowledge of all classic double guns. But more important, you'll meet people and make friends and contacts that may last a lifetime.
I owe a very special thanks to Silvers for welcoming me into the mix as soon as I arrived at Hidden Hollow. He sold me my first Fox that day and began giving me some technical direction and understanding (Fox 101) to help me get started properly. There are many engineers in this world, but Frank (Silvers) is at the top of the heap. The AHFCA and other collector associations are fortunate to have his knowledge, guidance and friendship.
On the clay courses or in the field this fall, please be safe and shoot straight. Phil
