Press fit bead method?

Finishing up my fahter-in-law's Sterlingworth. He prefers the silver alloy bead, which I acquired from Pumpkin Mtn. and requires a press fit installtion. I'd assume a vice or clamp, protecting the barrel and bead themselves, and tightening to press it in. Correct? Please feel free to set me straight. Thanks.

New problem. The factory beads I've sourced are too small for the whole; both the silver alloy press in, and the faux ivory thread in. Since these are factory parts, perhaps the opening was opened up previously. Would you folks have a recommendation on what other beads would be suitable for use?
Thanks.

I thought all the metal beads were threaded and only the ivory beads were press fit. Also, I wasn't aware there was more then one size press fit bead. One size for the front bead and a smaller size press in for the rear bead. PS. Could be wrong. I'm wrong more often then not.

I'd get a silver bead from Brownells and thread it instead of doing the press fit. Just my opinion, but I'd trust the threads for the long haul over a press fit. Plus if you don't like the color or size it's easy to change.
