Going, going, ...... (bismuth for your Fox)

Last week I found a store that still had a good inventory of bismuth shells and hadn't heard BCC is out of business. I bought a bunch of them for myself, to reclaim the shot. Today I was on biz nearby and stopped there again. He still had some shells in inventory but said two other guys were in and just about cleaned out everything in 2, 4 and 5 shot. He still had some BB's and a few boxes of 2's, in 3-1/2" 12 and 10 gauges, at his new price of $32.00 plus sales tax for 10 shells. He said one of the guys told him BCC is out of biz.
Each box of 10 at 1-5/8 ounce yields a little more than 1 pound of shot; at the new price that's about $34.00 per pound with the tax. Pretty pricey but still less than Nice shot in loaded RST shells, especially in the smaller gauges. A bonus with the 3-1/2" BCC shells is to shorten them and use the primed hulls with roll or regular crimp in shorter chambered 12 and 10 gauge guns.
Sorry for this diatribe but I was so happy I bought the shells last week - or 2 weeks from now for that matter. If any board members are considering getting bismuth shells to reclaim the shot for your Fox, you'd better start hitting the gunshops now. Silvers
