Abby Gun gets it first Virginia Grouse
Wish she had been with me in person and not just in spirit. She would have had fun. Her niece Gracie however had a very nice retrieve on a very active long legged grouse. Shot some birds with this gun already, but Abby and I liked Grouse hunting together a lot. Grouse in Virginia are hard to come by and thus this one is pretty special indeed.

Course I must show a picture of my sweet Abby as well. Was taken at a Preserve in March of 2013 when she was 13 years old. Miss her every day even now:

Awww....she looks like a sweet old girl! I'm sure she's missed but just as sure she was well loved and cared for. Miss my old Brit fiercely. Congrats on the bird.
