Grade A wall hanger

Recently purchased a Grade A Fox with matching serial number 21001. The gun has a cracked stock at the grip and has two metal plates screwed to secure the stock. Otherwise the gun is decent with nice scroll, all bluing is gone, but the patina is nice. The gun is tight and seems to function with caps. I was wondering if it's worth finding a replacement stock or enjoy the gun with its flaws and bandage. Only have $100 invested so far. I can include picture when I figure out how too. I don't plan on shooting, but I think about a duck hunt someday with it. Thanks.

Many stock "doctors" can repair a crack with modern adhesives so that the crack is invisible. A new stock would be cost prohibitive in my opinion. If I only have $100 in the gun I would re-blue the barrels and have the stock crack repaired, you would still have a nice shooter without breaking the bank. Craig Larter
