The Brit's are great, had a terrific one myself. The gun is O. K. Sorry I don't know about the serial #s. My early 1908 A has a serial number just about everywhere, stock, receiver, trigger guard, barrels, etc.

Pre-Gun Control Act of 1968 Model Bs do not have serial numbers as far as I know. Many hardware store gun models from different manufacturers were marketed without serial numbers before 1968.

Thanks for the info. We had a discussion about the legality of selling
a gun without a serial number through an FFL.
Sorry about the image size.
I am new to image posting.
Any tips on how to reduce the
size would be appreciated.

Peter,
Very nice ejctor (?) SW!
I see you're using Photobucket; great resource! In your "Up-load" box, you'll see
max image size: xxx yyy (options)
click on options, select message board (640 x 480) and SAVE.
This will automatically resize all your uploads to a convenient size and you'll not have to worry bout it again.
Or, if you think you want your files bigger in Photobucket for some reason, keep uploading them as you are, but when you go to post one on a bulletin board chose "edit" and then "resize" on the individual photo.
Hope this helps.

It looks like a great hunt.
The serial number has been covered.
Depending on what image or photo editing software you are using try to size you photos below 800 pix on the horizontal and 600 vertical this lill limit much need for scrolling.
