(a little homage to the other thread bout the dogs on C's, also, where do B pics go?)

My later model 16ga A.H. Fox Grade B has some rather intricate birds engraved on it. Sage Grouse possibly or maybe some other bird, don't know (HELP?). I was showing the pic below to my 10yr old daughter and she caught sight of the small bit of case color at the rearmost of the left bird and asked if it was intentional. I explained the Case Color process and how this could be bone charcoal or cyanide dipping treatment and how the positions of colors are random. She replied "It looks like it let something out Daddy"

To put it indelicately, grouse farts.

Also, first sunny day since I brought it home, the sunlight really wakes up the flamegrain in the 87yr old lady.

That's a nice looking B grade. Is it an ejector gun?

A friend of mine has a similar B grade also with extractors. The later deep engraved B grade is a scarce model and I believe it to be even scarcer with extractors.

It would be nice to compare serial numbers. I will try to get the serial data on my friend's B.
