Today, Sat 19/July I re-visited my farmer friend with the Fox (love dat alliteration, right?) and took about 12 good clear photos. I also took photos of the .410 Parker, but out of respect for the "rules and regs" extant, will not post them here. Both guns have DT and selective AE and splinter FE with std latch releases (A&D?) design perhaps. The Fox has 29 & 1/2" Savage Utica later fitted barrels with a raised solid rib, 2 & 3/4" chambers, choked M&F and a std, buttplate for that era. The Parker has 26" barrels, 3" chambers and is also choked M&F-=- If someone will please "walk me through" the steps here, I will be glad to post photos of the Fox AE-- FYI- and I want to make this "Crystal Clear"- I have not purchased the AE 12 bore, but whether I do or not, in NO WAY am I looking to sell it "Sub Rosa""-that is to say- "Under The Table"..

Several different ways. I like picturetrail.com

Go on their site and register and then click on upload pics. It will then give you the option to load from your server where you have stored the pictures. Once the pics are uploaded then you go to image URL's. There will be a bunch of options, but go to: Forums [IMG] Tag: Then do a left click on your mouse. That will highlight the IMG. Then right click on your mouse and make a copy of the IMG and then paste it into your posting. Then when you click submit folks will see the image you are posting. Hope that helps.

G-TOWN,

Just my two pennies worth, but if that .410 is in decent condition, I'd be at the farmer's back door by 7am tomorrow with a stack of blueberry flap-jacks, hot coffee, a paint brush and a rake and shovel to do any chores that might need doing. In my left pocket would be a blank check.....LOL!!! I needn't tell you how those PAHKAH boys have a habit of getting frightfully woozy over those cute, little rat guns!!

Doesn't sound like it uploaded your photos.

After you upload your photo's you should get see a page that say's:

Share photos - Upload pics now!

Once you see that page click on the "use old uploader"

The click on "image 1 choose file" (choose file will be in a gray box, click on that box)

That will then take you to your computer and go to your picture library. Select the picture you want and then doubleclick using your mouse.

You will then be taken back to picture trail you will see where the image 1 will now show PICTXXX.JPG to the right. Then click "Upload pics now"

You will then see a pop up saying that upload processing done.

It will give you three choices on the next screen. Click on the third which is: " Get Image URLs"

You will then seen the screen and it will have 5 options. You will click on the inside of the third one which is Forums. When you click on it it will be highlighted. Then click on the right side of your computer mouse and copy.

The come to your posting and click the left side our your mouse to where you want to post the photo and then click the right side of your mouse and you will see the option to paste and click there. You should now have posted the photo. Here is one I just did.

I agree- I spent the rest of the day putting a tune on his Miller 250 MIG wire welder-and welding some drawbars with it, after grinding out the trapped slag from previous attempts at welding same-- but blueberry pancakes, black coffee, great breakfast indeed. I brought the .410 home with me, doubt if I will shoot it though, shells are over $14.95 a box when you can find them. Almost as expensive as shooting a 28 gauge. I life my morning cup of java to the late Mr. Ansley H. Fox, in his marketing wisdom to avoid the "dinky gauges"- not enough "bang for your buck", and I also agree with the late TNB-- "The .410 gauge should be outlawed for all hunting, just allowed in the skeet game"!!
