Mike, I will be there, and I'm personally a big fan of this shoot. The Vendor Situation the past two years that I've attended has been ok, but not what you would find at the Spring Southern. It's just a fantastic venue to shoot, with multiple courses and several Manufacturers Challenges going on. There is a pretty good contingent of Parker shooters I know that will be in attendance. It would be great to see more of the Fox faithful in attendance this year.
Here are some pictures of the last two years shoots, which should give you an idea of the Vendors that have been in attendance.

I will definitely be there, barring death or illness. I always stay in one of Rick's lodges on site, and have my room already reserved for this year. It is a great shoot, and all the more convenient for me, being only a 2 1'2 hour drive from home. I missed last year and my whole year was out of whack.
Great shoot and great targets, and oh yeah, ALWAYS great food and fellowship. We really need enough Fox shooters to give those Smith and Parker guys some competition.

Looks good!! I'll be competing with my Fox(es) but will have the DH Parker with for the "Challenge". Any recommendations for lodging for me and the Mrs?

I'd like to get down there !
But not so much for the Sporting Clays .
This place is about 20-30 miles from Archibald Rutledge's "Hampton Plantation" and they offer deer hunting .
I think it would be kinda cool to sit in one of their stands and plow a deer with one of my Parker 12's shooting my handloaded buckshot .

Good call Sitka!! My Father-in-law went to school at Mercersburg Academy and was mentored by Archibald Rutledge. We have a bunch of his books signed and even have a framed sketch AR drew. Very cool stuff.

I would like to have a couple pics of Mr. Rutledge with his variouse shotguns . I heard he shot one or two Parkers loose to the state of non fixable . Also read somewhere that he had a Fox . Never saw mention of him owning a Smith thou . Anyway sitting in one of Backwoods Quails ladder stands with my heavy Parker VH #2 12 gauge loaded with my 0 Buck handloads and killing a South Carolina man eating whitetail would be kinda neat and I don't care if it's a doe ,spike , 6 point or the South Carolina state record .

No, we have a tournament here on the 19th. That would be about a 3 hour ride to shoot 61 targets!!

Mike,
Here is a link to the nearest hotels to Rick's club. They are at Georgetown. This is from his website. I'm staying at the Quality Inn and Suites next weekend for the NWTF "Heat is On" tournament and will be glad to let you know, after I return, if the accommodations are up to par. He didn't have any of his on-site rooms available for next weekend's shoot, and you would probably rather stay at a nice hotel with your wife anyway.

I will be shooting my 32" 16 ga. L.C. Smith in the challenge.
