First A.H.F.C.A. HONORARY MEMBER!!

To All members of Fox Nation:
It is my distinct privilege to introduce you to our first AHFCA Honorary Member, Capt. Paul Bucha, formerly with the 101st Airborne. Mr. Bucha and his small company poked the hornet’s nest back in March of ’68 and found themselves on the wrong end of a North Vietnamese “welcome wagon!” If not for the leadership, composure, intrepidity, cunning and undaunted courage of Bucha (their Captain) the outcome would have no doubt, been far more disastrous.
For his actions, Capt. Bucha was invited to 1600 Penn. Ave. where the tenant (one, who unfortunately was later evicted) clasped a blue and bronze necklace on his uniform. Paul let me hold his little “trinket” as he calls it, and I have not washed my hand since!
I had so hoped he was a hunter or target shooter (with a Sterly in his closet) but alas he’s not a gun guy, though does appreciate the craftsmanship and historical significance of antique American arms. He was nevertheless deeply touched by our offering.
He’s a very young 71 and as you would expect, still does “PT” five days a week. Smart, assertive, articulate, this guy is THE REAL FREAKIN’ DEAL and embodies all the characteristics of a bonafide American HERO! Capt. Bucha is one of 78 living recipients of the CMOH.
Please check out the link below for a narration of his exploits. I included a few photos from our luncheon as well. BTW, we gave him Member #101 for obvious reasons! It was truly a day that I’ll never forget!
Thanks------SC
