My grandfather purchased new... my Sterlingworth 20 ga 28.25 inch double barrell with ejector. Ser# 253423
How do I learn its manufacture date and value - beautiful bright stock with no wear, blued steel with minor pitting only seen in bright light. Only modificaton is where he ingraved his initial "H" near hinge on wood under barrells. I dont believe the patent date stamps make this ID.
