Good Morning,

Just signed up to this interesting forum. Being a Parker guy for a long time I was introduced to a Fox A gr 12ga gun that I fell in love with. This initiated a deep dive into the AH Fox world and the beginning journey into collecting/shooting Fox sxs's. Recently picked up a Fox BE and ran a course of trap clays with it, first time, for some reason these guns match up well with my shooting style and feel very comfortable in my hands. I look forward to reading the interesting material and comments on this board.

Best & Happy Holidays!

Welcome, GT. Glad to have you.

I know about the "feel" of a Fox, as you put it. I have a BE also, 32", and shoot it almost as well at sporting clays as I do my MX-8. If I shot it as much as I do the O/U I would probably shoot it just as well. Wonderful guns.

I'm 52 years old and have been shooting Parker's , Fox's and LC Smith's for 40+ years . When I was a kid you started with a single barrel hammer gun and then went to a side by side PERIOD. You would get your butt whipped if you brought an auto or pump in our house !

Well let me rephrase a bit , no auto's unless it was a Browning A-5 .

As to skeet , trap or that other game I can shoot them all equally well or bad however you look at it with a Krieghoff O/U or any number of side by's . Same can be said in the dove field and the grouse coverts back when I still chased old man Ruff !

Three years ago I went to the dove field with a Remington Model 32 and a Westley Richards boxlock and did the same with both guns . This past season I went with a Fox A 16 and a Browning Superposed 20 gauge and limited out in 2 hours .
