Upon reflection, I am glad this project has taken so long.

I have had the chance to see so many other project guns that it has enabled me to refine my tastes and get a feel for what I really want.

I'm not sure.

He is going to give me frequent updates from now on so I will be checking on that.

This is like following a young puppy that was just born and watching it develop and change over the next several weeks. Dan can run a file for sure. Takes a ton of talent to do that.

ROMAC...the wait will be with it. Looks like a beutiful start! I went through the whole thread. I didn't know Dan was so young. I assumed he was an older gent given all the rave reviews I hear about on his projects.

Believe Dan is 35. He's going to be around for a long time. Was accepted into the American Custom Gunmakers Guild in January of this year as a stockmaker.

If you wished I don't see why you couldn't make both barrels balance at the same point. Especially if the 28" has a semi-beavertail forearm with its own iron and the 30" has a splinter with its own iron. It might take some additional weight in the forearm and butt stock but I don't think it would be substantial.
