Today only? Crap, I'm not getting there until tonight and will be there Fri/Sat. This will be my first time at an event like this, and hope to meet a few of you.

Thanks to everyone who made me feel welcome today at The Eastern Panhandle Side-By-Side Classic at Prospect Hall. I had a wonderful time meeting all of you and look forward to more discussion in the future about these wonderful guns. I was amazed at how much I learned in just a short afternoon with y'all.

P.S. Anyone out there who thinks sporting clays isn't challenging enough... try doing it with a SxS!

All the best,
Jonathan

Thanks, Jonathan, it was great to meet you after meeting your father in law and mother in law and probably your wife several years ago. Thank you so much for bringing the Reuter family Foxes out for us to examine. This is the greatest collection of Fox shotguns to ever be displayed. The Parker was a very appreciated addition to the "family guns". Thanks again. Bill Murphy

Mark,

Can you get a couple of the pictures you took today up? I would love to see them.
Thanks,

Morning Mark,

Mike seemed to really know what he was doing. But you sure had a pretty nice camera yourself. Did you get any good shots with your little guy out on the coarse? I would love to see some and add them to the history of the guns.

The shoot is over, sorry you missed it. No Fox guns for sale of any consequence. Y'all may consider showing up next year. Read the accounts on the PGCA site.

Below are a few photos of our Parker group shooting. There was me, who you do not see as I had the camera, and Jonathan Engle shooting a Becker built Fox, Mike Smith shooting a Fox Skeet and Upland, Rich Anderson, Daryl Corona, and Chuck Bishop.

Photo #2 shows Mike Smith, Chuck Bishop, a great trapper, Jonathan Engle, and Rich Anderson.
Photo #5 shows Daryl Corona watching Mike Smith shoot.
Photo #8 shows my 36" Parker DH 10, Jonathan's Becker built Fox CE, and Mike's Fox Skeet and Upland.

Thanks for the pictures, Mark. It's the next best thing to being there! I was able to slip away from work on Tuesday and make a quick trip over to the U.S. Open to shoot the S x S event, and drove back home that same day. Got home in time to do some tractor driving late that afternoon. Wish I could have been there and shot with ya'll, and met some more of you.

All my best, Stan

Stan,

Come up to Hausmann's Hidden Hollow during May 31 to June 2. Hausmann's is my favorite of these big SxS rendezvous! There you can compete in the AH Fox Bo-Whoop event. That will get you tuned up for dove season!
