Hello,
My father currently has a 16 gauge double barrel that his uncle (who bought it new) gave him back in the 40's. He used it for duck hunting up until the 60's or so and it has sat in the gun cabinet since. The gun is all original and is in really good shape. He is looking to sell it because he no longer can see. I told him he should just give it to me but that's not happening apparently. Anyway, I would like to find out any history and roughly what he can sell it for. The serial number is 372655 (and all the numbers match). It is a Utica Savage gun with 2 triggers and a 28" barrel. If anyone could provide any information on this I would greatly appreciate it! If I can ever figure out how to post pictures on here I will!
Thank you!

Re: 16 Gauge Double Barrel - Help!
I hope your father will reconsider and give you the Sterlingworth. I, too, have a Utica SW and the serial # is 3721xx, a 16 ga w/ 28" barrels. One in good shape should be able to bring at least $1200 and probably more unless it has poor dimensions or has been altered significantly.
