FOX NATION will display at the 8th Annual East Coast Fine Arms Show.

Happy New Year Comrades.
If you are in the vicinity of Stamford, CT this Saturday ( Jan 5th) come visit the A.H.F.C.A. booth where I promise you will see a bewitching display of "Philly-Iron" and receive your first "Fox-Fix" for 2013!! I should be set-up adjacent to The Parker Bros. Flying Circus.

Perhaps it would be a good time to renew your membership or buy one of our highly sought-after, Fox gunroom banners? Hope to meet some fresh new faces and shake hands with the "usual suspects" as well. Weather forecast looks good!! What a great way to shake-off cabin fever and emerge from your holiday slumber!!! Remember this, "yuh ain't gonna find 'em in your living room..."

A.H.F.C.A. will be there Saturday only. Show hours are 9-5pm. Stamford Plaza Hotel, 2701 Summer St., Stamford, CT 06905
Hope you can make it!!!------TOOLMAN

I would have liked to go, but unfortunately need to take my daughter back to college, in the complete opposite direction from where I live!

I couldn't make the show this year. Heard that a decent 32 inch Super-Fox with factory 3-inch chambers, full capped pistol grip was walking around for sale at a good price. That was at 9:36am. A later text at 12:54pm said that it sold on the floor. I'm surprised it took that long!

I don't know what it brought, and I don't want to say what it was asking when walking around. That's why I didn't include that figure that in my post. From what I understand the gent who bought it, got a decent Super in perhaps the most sought-after configuration = 32/3-inch. I sorta know the gent and it's his catch to write more about. This is all I'll write on that Super from yesterday. My intent in posting was to politely remind to our members who are looking for good Foxes that your chance of finding them is low unless you've made Foxy contacts and/or invest time at shows and shoots. And a good way to make contacts is to spend time at AHFCA tables at our events, get to know each other beyond the internet. Silvers

......a brief segway to the Rochester, NY gunshow which I was at Friday and Saturday....NOTHING to report. I couldnt even begin to talk about an interesting gun I saw there because I saw NONE. Big crowd. Long line at the ATM. Black guns, magazines, zombie targets.

I had ten pieces on the table... Foxes, Winchester M21, Deluxe Savage & Winchester rifles in high condition (antique)....I may as well have had hockey sticks as 98.5% of the crowd just walked on by.

I did get to have alittle fellowship with JollyBill though, the highpoint of my show.

Marshfellow,

I made an attempt at that crowd on Saturday.

i think I know which table that was yours, I only saw one table with good Foxes and a 21. wish I had known, I would have introduced myself. The local paper said that hundreds attended, they must have dropped a zero. And of course the local media highlighted black guns and paranoia.

Unfortunately, despite the show's radio ads claiming that "this is a quality show, no junk" I am usually disapponted there. I go about every other one to see some folks I don't see often enough at the range.

OH Osthaus,

I spent more than a few minutes at Marshfellows table just talking and socializing. It would have been nice if you could have stopped by to say Hi and get to know you.

Yep, not much there in nice doubles.

I'm looking forward to the Las Vegas show in less than two weeks to chat with Fox'ers that might show up there.
