20 gauge skeet & upland

Post by cbowen »

Today I shot a Grouse with my 20 gauge skeet &upland that my son gave me about two weeks ago. It was the first grouse i got with that gun. When I got home the letter from JT Callahan came and veified that it was a skeet & upland. It was made in !935 which was the first year for the S & U. I was by myself hunting in 7 inches of powder snow just north of Hbg.,Pa. What a great day with 8 flushes of grouse and the 8th grouse was the one I shot. After the hunt I stopped at the Carsonville Hotel to enjoy some food and Yuengling beer. It was my first Grouse of the year.....
