First hunt with my "new" Sterlingworth

Opening day of dove season today and shooting the Sterlingworth with RST 7/8 oz load was a pure joy. I shot that thing like I'd hunted with it my entire life. 100 years old and still a meat getter!

Ditto for me. Used my Sterlingworth 16 gauge 30" ejector gun. First time I've shot it on game. Took a bit getting used to with the long barrels, but finally got warmed up. Doves on the grill tomorrow wrapped in bacon.

I remember back in 93 thinking my newly acquired Fox Sterlingworth was a quail killer. Now my newly acquired 'A' grade is a dove killer. I suppose Foxe's are just good guns.
