Fox A Grade

Geting my checkering done on a 1915 A grade 20 gauge recut,please tell me if the checkering is flat or pointed,also joined Fox Collectors about 3 weeks ago and got no respond about members forum or any other confirmation, thank you Jim Thoma

as I recall from reading on here some A grades had flat top checkering but most had pointed checkering... I really only recall seeing flat top checkering on sterlingworths but that's just a personal observation.

My 1922 AE 20 gage has pointed checkering but looks to be cut with a 60 degree tool not the newer 90 degree. The checkering is 24 LPI according to my Dembart gage. Lee.

I should have added that I have a first year 20 gauge A grade and the checkering is pointed.
