The Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company show room.

I've never seen a collection of fine doubles like that anywhere in the world. There are hundreds of guns costing from $50,000 to $500,000 that you can see, touch, and enjoy. It's like a museum where you can handle the exhibits.

In any case I originally went there because I purchased one of their reproduction Sterlingworth buttplates and the holes didn't line up. Instead of replacing it with another reproduction like I expected they dug around and found an original plate that fit perfectly.

It's a bit beat up but so is my sterly! I couldn't be happier.
If you're ever in the area, check it out but give yourself plenty of time because there's too much to take in in an hour.

Quality service is appreciated by all. Now if they would just get cracking on re-producing a replica/replacement for the scores of old unserviceable Jostam Anti-Flinch pads that are out there that need to be replaced.

All we need is someone to supply the new old stock Jostam Anti-Flinch pads in the three or four various sizes, so the company that makes the repro pads can use them to make molds.

Dave would engineering drawings with original dimensions work or does the mold maker use the specimen to make the mold?

Maybe Fox-Admin will chime in here, but as I understand it, he had two NOS pads at the rubber companies office when it burned!!

I had two new in the box Jostam Anti-Flinch pads 5 slot and 6 slot as I recall. I sent them to the company that makes G&H's pads for a tooling quote (US Company, no China for me). Anyhow, the company was in NJ and burned to the ground along with my two mint new in the box pads. I was thinking it maybe a nice little side business. If I can find replacements I will just send them to Lou and ask CSMC carry the project. I still have one of the mint boxes :D
