I figured I would post my favorite "Pin Gun" as my first post on the forum just to see what comes of it.

Nice gun!! No wonder Ansley went broke putting that amont of workmanship in a $25 shotgun.

I've got a 12 "model 1911" just like it. One of my favorite all around guns, and one that I paid the least for of all the guns in my case. There are pictures of it on my blog here:

My budget requires that I stick to the lesser grade Foxes for now, so I was thrilled when I could pick up this gun in this condition. I am also trying to buy a Philadelphia Arms A grade from the local Gander Mountain, but they think that it is a $4000 gun because some yoohoo came in and told them so. They were quite offended when I offered them $500, which I thought was pretty fair given its condition.

That is one nice looking pin gun. You have a real classic in what looks to be in very nice condition. Just curious what the first three digits of the five digit serial number of your gun are. As in 567XX. Just curious.
