Has anybody ever seen any reference to "our" Ansley Fox tied to a publishing company in Philadelphia ??? I have not. A friend just showed me an attic find of a rather nice (non-sporting) print with " Copyright 1908 by A. Fox Phila. " printed in the lower right corner. The timing is right. Thanks-

Tomasz, for information - anyone (individual, company) can copyright an original "work" whether a print, text, etc. The copyright owner doesn't have to be a publishing company. Frank

See ya in Vegas in a few days.

1911, No. 24 Campfire catalogue was printed by Clymer-Jones Lithography, Philadelphia.
1912, No. 25 Campfire catalogue was printed by John T. Palmer Company, Philadelphia.

Try them Ed Farrand

Ed,

That crossed my mind too....if ol'Ansley was somehow involved in printing I would have suspected he would have been doing his own company's catalogs.

In Boyd's City Directory for Philadelphia in 1908, there are 47 entries for A. Fox. Philadelphia was a big town then, as it is now.
