What gun is that? Early A grade?
I may head up to Kansas when pheasant season opens there the 12th. Bobwhite season in West Texas appears to be very very very poor.

I was out Monday with my old "Meat in the Pot" gun, my straight grip, 1914-vintage A-Grade 12-gauge, but I didn't take any pictures other than of my dog Skitso at work --
At this point in time, members are probably getting tired of old "Meat in the Pot" but this is our 46th season together --

Beautiful gun. Absolutely adore straight grip Foxes. Skitso ain't bad either. Enjoy your season with ole' "Meat". You should have a special hunt for your 50th season together. How is she choked/barrel length?

Meat-in-the-Pot left North 18th Street and Windrim Avenue choked improved modified in both barrels. I had the right opened to improved cylinder in 1966.
