Hotel for Foxers while at the Vintagers/Pintail?

Post by Silvers »

I see the Parker guys have id'd a hotel for their members while at Pintail Point this fall. Has anyone here checked out a decent hotel that might be a good place for Fox guys to stay, have dinner, raise a few toasts to Ansley, etc.? Anyone make reservations yet? Silvers

You are really late to be making this type of plans. Get busy. I posted a block of instruction on hotels, location of the Pintail Point facility in relation to hotel locations, mileage etc. on the PGCA site many moons ago. I will try to locate it and bring it to the top of the forum over there. Good luck and be sure to meet at the Fox tables or booth that Mr. Poudret made available. Please visit at the PGCA tent also. Although some of my Parker friends don't approve, several of my friends and I have made a tradition of manning a "hospitality area" at the Vintagers for many years. I hope we can get away with it for at least one more year. Please visit and partake of the "hospitality". This area has been sponsored by friends Tom Fleetwood, David Sherrill, Roscoe Stevenson, Dr. Dave Carlson and "Eightbore". Bill Murphy

Some of us who are also PGCAers are booked into the Days Inn at the south end of the Easton bypass where it intersects Route 50, as a fallback position, but we are trying to rent a house for the festivities.

Researcher, I will be close to you in Easton at the Holiday Inn Express , I think that is a little to far away for any Fox gathering. I hope staying at the Holiday inn express makes me smart enough to keep my money in my wallet this time. Ha Ha!! Silvers I am sure we will all be hanging around the Fox table helping out! Might be nice to have a dinner out one of the nights with those that would be interested. Paul
