Cleaning up Sterlingworth

Post by studdog »

Just bought an oringinal sterlingworth 12 gauge. Gun is in pretty good shape for a 1922 that's been sitting around awhile. Any ideas on how to clean it up would be appreciated. The only porblem is some "ring pitting" in the right bore in the choke area. Otherwise bores seem pretty clean. Any thoughts on whether it can be removed some how? Any products out there that will help? This is my first old gun purchase. All advice welcome. George
