Hello all. Been awhile since I've been here. I've got a Fox from the Philly era. Needed a stock & safety assembly when I bought it a couple years ago. I located a stock & forearm, just need to send it to a gunsmith & get them fitted. Been too many other projects for me to do to get this one complete though.
So, I've come across a Sterlingworth receiver complee with firing, trigger, & safety assembly for sale locally. I'm wondering if those parts from the sterlingworth will fit in my gun? Is it worth me getting the receiver & part it out & use what I can out of it for my gun?
If not, guees I should go ahead & get it & have another project? Decisions decisions.

Re: fox--philly model--parts interchange?
The safety assembly should fit your Philly gun and if same gauges may work but a good double gunsmith should fit the pieces and be sure they function properly and not allow the gun to fire on safe. Safety button may be a Utica which is of a slightly different shape but will interchange. Bobby
