Jake: I'm not authorized to speak for the Fox Board, but personally I think that it would be great. You should also seek out the Parker Collectors Forum and Doublegunshop Forum.

Best Regards, George

I've not been on the DoubleGunshop Forum. I'll have to check that out. I've already posted the link on the Parker board with their graces. Jerry

THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION AND I AM NOT SPEAKING FOR THE FOX CA BOARD. THE BOARD MEMBERS ARE SCATTERED OVER THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND, AND WE HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE AS YET TO DISCUSS THIS, AND MAKE A BOARD DECISION.

Personal opinion - our policy for the open public forums is that direct links may not be posted to sites where guns are for sale. This stems from the terms and conditions in place in our club insurance. I checked the new website as posted on the PGCA Forum, and I see where guns will be allowed/offered for sale on the new site. Thus it's my opinion that it's not acceptable to post the new website link here; and I am asking Jerry to refrain from doing that until the Fox CA Board can fully discusss this and render a decision. Thank you for your understanding.

Many, but perhaps not all here know, that I am one of the five Board Members. Frank Silvers

A quorum of the Directors of the AHFCA have now discussed the question posed by Mr. JakeFlyFish, and for the reason cited in the preceding post, the posting of his new website link will not be permitted in any of our open, public forums.

Jerry: I wish you the best of luck with the new L.C. Smith Forum. I know that it takes a lot of time & effort to do something like this and is largely a thankless job. I hope that your efforts bring success.

Best Regards, George

Thank you, I appreciate it. I took 4 hours out today and built tags into the board for all sorts of things. I'm trying to make it as user friendly as possible for all of us who love doubles and may need something down the road. Jerry

Because the wonderful forum of the LC Smith Collectors Association might just disappear any day now?

Destry, I think Jerry's forum may be more oriented toward gunsmithing issues and may be a good fit in the "shotgun website" world.

Eight bore, that's a very intelligent assessment. Thanks much, Jerry

I always say it like it is, Jerry, although it doesn't always go over very well. By the way, thank you so much for the favor you did for me this week to get my great Syracuse-Fulton transition Smith gun back in action. I test fired the gun this week for the first time thanks to the part you supplied me with. I will think of you whenever I have a Smith problem, and next time, I will send payment. Thanks again. Bill, I rarely charge for small parts, especially the guys who appreciate the guns, and that sure shows with you. I'm glad it worked out. I just fixed a set of ejectors tonight, first variation, I really like them, much more so than the 2nd variation on a Smith gun. The first variation is simple and does not grind on the breech face like the 2nd variation. Jerry
