Keels at Muzzle of AE

I own this AE Grade and have been shooting it exclusively this spring.

Last weekend I noticed that there do not appear to be any keels at the muzzle. The barrels do not touch.

Measure 'exactly' 30" with my trusty tape measure. Chokes are both in the .050" range.

Yes, I know I should letter it. I do not have a picture of the muzzles. These are pictures I have had hosted for a long time on Photobucket.

is there a question here? Is there just empty space between the barrels and upper and lower ribs? I think there are lots of ppl that can fill the keels... seems that there was even a post by Silvers on how he does it himself (may be in the member's only section).

Is that a Miller trigger?

Yes, it is a Miller.

There is soft solder filling the 'triangular' spaces, but no keels in place. The question is, should there be the little triangular pieces of steel, that I know as 'keels' in those spaces?
