Source for new stocks

Hello all,
I am wondering if anyone knows of a source for new butt stocks for Fox's or perhaps someone with a panograph duplicator with some experience in making double stocks. I have a Sterlingworth that I would like to use as a field gun. It's in good shape overall but has a cracked stock at the wrist. I fixed it with acra-glass but can't say how long it will stay. Even if the repair is permanent, the lines of the original semi-pistol grip stock remain awkward at best. I would like to fit a new stock to my dimensions (if possible). Thanks.

I have not bought from this source but if you just want a semi-inletted new stock for your shotgun, there is a guy that sells on gunbroker.com and on ebay for around $115 I have no idea how much "beef" is available for shaping to dimensions...

I think if you like the fit of the stock you have and want probably less effort in inletting then a standard semi-finished/inletted stock, you might consider having your stock duplicated. I've heard good things about the following: http://www.gunstockduplicating.com/

I was at a gunshop in Pa picking up a Sterlingworth about 2 weeks ago and the gunsmith had a model 70 stocked duplicated. I was amazed how clean the cuts were as I compared one (original pattern stock) to the duplicated one. I'm sure Mike has some wood he can provide for a fee, or you can pick up some from many of the wood merchants out there. Vaturkey.

I don't know what area you live in, but I have been both buying wood and having it duplicated from Donnie Gemmes [pronouced Jimmmez] at Show Me Gunstocks in Warsaw, Mo. I have known Donnie since he was at Fajen's and he has always been able to fill my needs. He always has a good selection of blanks also. His address is Show Me Gunstocks, P.O. Box97, Warsaw, Mo.65355, and his phone is 660/438-4568. You can send him your old wood to duplicate from around the inletting and tell him where you want to leave extra wood, or use his pattern. Happy whittling. Lee.
