Thank you for your comment. I came upon her by accident while doing an internet search shortly after I became interested in A H Fox guns. I then visited the store in West covina , CA where she was advertised. The owner spent quite a bit of time schooling me on the differences between the various guns and allowed me to fondle the many high quality guns in his inventory. This one caught my attention and after some hesitation, I took the leap. She is an excellent shooter and a joy to behold. The previous owner obviously took care of her yet she has just enough character to show that her talents have been appreciated.

Great looking gun. What are the chokes? Have you measured the bores? My two early 12s with Krupp barrels have really tight bores of .720-.722.

She is choked full and full, exactly what the letter from Callahan said when delivered to Union Hardware in Los Angeles on 28 June 1911. I have not gauged her but the knowledgeable shopowner that I bought her from did. I have no intention of changing anything about her. If I want to shoot diffeent chokes, I will use my Stoeger.
One of these days I hope to participate in one of the A H Fox shoots so that I can swap stories and look at the great old Foxes that I see and hear about on this site instead of seeing the fancy new stuff that you run into at the Trap Range.

Hey does the gun have a Ivery double sight or a brass sight? The early Fox guns with Ivery sights look so cool. Donnie
