if you mean, how do you get the factory records for how the CE was orignally built. two ways. You can send a check and letter rquestig such information to the Savagae/Fox Historian, John Callahan... I am sure the info is available on the home page here somewhere. Callahan usually takes quite a while to get back to you but sends a very nice formal letter telling you about your gun and usually some generic information about the period the gun was built or info on the specific model of your gun.

Or you can join the AH Fox collectors here for $25 a YEAR or $300 for a life membership.... you won't get a nice letter here but you will get the information that the factory card has on it.
