To Mike Campbell...Following our conversation at Hidden Hollow this past June. I have loaded up some of my 16ga. spreaders using your method of dropping 7/8 ounce of lead and then adding the spreader insert and then dropping 1/8 ounce on top.
They loaded well and I will try them out soon.I made a 1/8 ounce dipper out of a pen top believe it or not! It works well...
