Exceptional gun. Don't cut yourself on that barrel lettering.

Dave: I second the cutting your hand on the barrel markings. That's as sweet of Sterly as I have seen in a long time. I have a Gunslick cleaning rod in the package like the one you show and a canvas takedown case like yours also that came together with a Model 42 Winchester solid rib skeet. You don't see those type cases in any condition much anymore. Yesterday ,I was told of a 20 ga. Sterly that was described as similar condition to yours by the photos, in my area, that was bought in 1939. It must be a Utica gun. OF COURSE the bloodhounds are out even though I was told it's not for sale. Maybe some of your luck will come to Kansas. Happy Foxing, Lee.
